Ward Boundaries across Wiltshire are changing in 2021.
The Local Government Boundaries Commission has published its final recommendations for new electoral arrangements for Wiltshire Council. This plan reunites the area around the Cathedral with Harnham. Harnham is now split into two wards, East and West. Going forward Harnham will be represented at Wiltshire Council by two councillors, giving us a greater say on Council matters.
The final recommendations show Harnham being split East & West, with the Lower, Middle and Upper St area and Harnham Rd (N) included in the Harnham West ward. This is very
welcome news. Harnham East will include The Close and The Friary, along with Downton Rd, Milton Rd area, Ridings Mead and Rowbarrow.
These new boundaries will be in place for the local elections in May 2021.
